A camera and a prime lens for the holydays

Thinking of travelling light, for this holyday I took with me only one camera and a prime lens, my old trusty Fuji X-E1 and the Fujinon 27mm 2.8 prime lens. Just like a challenge, based on "that's what you have, deal with it". I usually took with me the zoom lenses, 18-55 and 55-200, but now, instead of zooming with the lens, I walked a little more. This way I knew the possibilities and the limits, and I've been more focused on subject matter and composition. And all that I can say is that I didn't miss another lens. I think this exercise should be done more often by photographers, just one fixed lens to help you emphasise things that catch your attention, replacing the "disturbing" questio
